Namunyak is a growing school in Ewuaso Ng'iro, Tannery Area, Narok. Support can help strengthen everyday teaching, learning resources and access to consistent education.
Why Support Matters

Namunyak aims to provide a consistent place to learn close to the community. Prospective supporters are welcome to discuss how they could contribute.

As a young school, our focus is to strengthen what already exists before expanding responsibly.

Support to sustain and improve the lunch already provided for learners.
Learning Materials
Books, stationery, desks and other resources for everyday teaching and learning.
Transport Access
Exploring options to help learners who travel long distances. School transport is not currently offered.
Infrastructure Development
Future improvements to classrooms, sanitation and water access, based on the school’s needs.
Future Boarding Facilities
A longer-term proposal to explore boarding for learners whose attendance is affected by distance or family movement.
Transport and boarding are development priorities, not services currently offered by the school.
Programme area
Girl Child Education
Girl Child Education is a distinct programme and partnership area at Namunyak. Its purpose is to support girls’ access to education and continued learning, alongside confidence and equal participation.
Partners are welcome to discuss sponsorship towards school fees and support with learning materials to help girls continue their education, with arrangements agreed with the school and families. Other future programme initiatives would need consultation with families and the community, planning and resources before they could begin.

Future development
A Longer-Term Vision for Continuity
The school grounds today. Boarding remains a future priority.
One of Namunyak’s longer-term priorities is to explore a basic boarding facility for learners who live far from school or whose families move in search of pasture and water.
Any future boarding provision would aim to support regular attendance and continued learning. It would require further planning before it could be offered.
Future planning may include:
- Dormitory accommodation
- Beds and mattresses
- Sanitation facilities
- Kitchen and dining facilities
- Water storage
- Lighting and basic utilities
These boarding facilities do not currently exist.
